Extremely friendly host and amazing breakfast. She even switched my bed for me when I had trouble sleeping the first night. Bike rentals were great quality and the overall energy of this island is something that you do not get most other places in Thailand now. Can't forget the free Elephant gift bag she gave everyone also 😀

We booked two nights and ended up staying much longer — that’s how special Big Hug Home is. Pom has created a true paradise filled with love, creativity, and care. The open, airy rooms are peaceful and comfortable, surrounded by nature’s sounds, and we loved falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof. Pom is one of the most inspiring people we’ve ever met — kind, artistic, and full of warmth. Her home-cooked meals were amazing (we even tasted her home-grown seaweed!), and her family made us feel right at home. Tucked away near the river, it’s quiet and surrounded by nature, yet easy to get around by scooter or local taxi. Kayaking through the mangroves was a highlight. Thank you, Pom, for everything — we’ll never forget our time here. 🌸

La was an exceptional host, she made me feel at home. La went above and beyond her duties. She arranged for her friend to practice riding the scooter with me, she also dropped me to the port on my last day. During my time there, La also bought a local snack for all the guests as a gift. The accommodation is spacious and peaceful. The beds were big and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are also big. The cats were very cute!

Absolutely loved my stay. I had a little bungalow all to myself and was just what I needed. Everything in it was perfect; a big comfy bed, fridge, water, kettle and a TV with Netflix! Great shower too. It is in a lovely and quiet area of the island and with a bike, which I was able to rent directly from the hotel, I was able to explore close by restaurants and beaches. The owner picked me up from the pier when I arrived and checked me in swiftly with no issues. He also organized a ferry onward for me and was so kind to allow me to stay after check out in an airconditioned room while I waited to depart. Drove me to the pier too. The breakfast was also absolutely delicious and there was lots of it. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Great hostel, very clean and good position. If you are looking for a quiet island to relax, this is the one! I highly recommend staying here. The receptionist was very helpful and since I couldn’t drive the motorcycle he was so nice to take me to the beach and back to the pier. Thanks again!
