I love this place! I've stayed in many hostels in Europe, south and north America, and this is one of the top in my list! It's very clean, Pedro was super nice and proactive, the bed are clean. Upon check in Pedro gave me a towel and the bed sheets, all super clean! Shower was amazing! And shower and toilet rooms were super clean. Although it is located right near the Hollywood Blvd, the hostel's location is very quiet at night. It's also safe (I traveled alone, arrived at night), and near everything.

Banana Bungalow’s location is fantastic! Right in the heart of Hollywood and steps away from all the hotspots. You can see the HOLLYWOOD sign right from the courtyard.

The location can't be any better. You're in the heart of Hollywood. The staff are very helpful. The common room and the kitchen is very nice.

The Rosemary is a turn of the century modernist fever dream. A brothel? A speak-easy? A 1920’s French gentleman’s club? It’s colourful and warm yet the portraits and sculptures have eyes that seem to watch. This is a good thing! The decor is truly an artistic curation that transports you to another time. I loved that the entry was self checkin but that there was a number to text for communication. All the amenities worked and the space was clean and well thought out. All the fixtures, hardware and architectural detail are very high end and well constructed. Someone took a lot of time to focus on form but obviously felt function was equally important. I parked on the side street a block away with no incident. I would definitely go back as it’s a smart, cheap way to stay in LA but it’s also an interesting experience. Loved every bit of it.

I had a great time at this accommodation, the location is perfect. The rooms are kept clean and tidy, beds are extremely confident, great facilities provided and theres was free Turkish coffee which I really enjoyed. I will definitely be back

The staff and owner were so incredible , they did everything they could to make me feel at home and make sure that I had everything I needed. I can say for certain that this is the one of the best hostels I have stayed at in California for sure , america and possibly the world. The location is right near Hollywood Blvd stretch, very close to the Metro Line Subway. Walk of Fame is around the corner. The Hollywood sign, the beaches are within 1-1.5 hrs by subway. Everything is accessible. The ambiance is cozy and the place is clean. There is complimentary coffee too. There is a full kitchen if you wanna cook. I also like that guests can leave their bags till 10 pm of the check out date. Also, the guests are respectful of the quiet time, everyone is nice and friendly. Andrew, who manages the place, is very accommodating and nice. Bed is comfortable, place smells good, common areas are clean and it is safe during the night to get to the Podshare.
