Sasha, the little dog of course. Staff were lovely, very accomodating. I paid for a dorm, I was by myself until later in the evening 5 workmen joined me and it was a little uncomfortable and noisy. They offered me a double room upgrade for no extra cost which was honestly so lovely. I cannot recommend nothando enough

What makes this place extra special is Debbie, the manager. She goes out and beyond to make sure that the guest is extremely satisfied. She even took me on a hike and had her friend drive me around because I didn't have a car. Thank you Debbie for making my stay here feel like home. I recommend this place to any backpacker and wouldn't stay anywhere else whenever I visit Plattenburg. As for the accommodation itself, it's very clean and you have everything that you need.

    This was one of my best hostel experiences anywhere in the world. The host went so far out of her way to help with recommendations and to ensure you have a perfect stay. Couldn't rate Nothando's highly enough. Definitely worth staying at if you're in Plettenberg Bay.

    Small family-style backpackers with a single dorm room and attached bathroom, around the corner from bus loop and main road. The hostel is clean and quiet, with large common room and very well-equipped kitchen. Mattresses in dorm are very comfortable; dorm room also has private entrance. Good place to meet other travelers!
