I look forward to coming back and staying in one of the campers (I was in the 12 beds dorm). they had soap and other supplies in the bathrooms! thank you for free period products :)

Definitively, this is one of THE BEST hostels in Europe. From the historical building and incredible restoration work, the location, the staff, the attention to details and the desire to satisfy their client to the best ability, this hostel deserves its high rating, and more. I was completely swayed by the spacious rooms, comfortable beds, the lounge area AND the kitchen, bar and drink vending machine, incredibly affordable and spacious lockers, the views from the window and the overall energy in the building. I've met great people during my stay and would go as far as to recommend this over a hotel to stay over for a mini trip, whether alone or with friends.

Located right in Ghent's city centre, KaBa Hostel features a garden with a terrace and offers rooms with free WiFi 1 km from the Vrijdagmarkt Square and Ghent's City Council. KaBa Hostel is a really nice, warm and cosy place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very silent at night. Good breakfast for just the price of 5 euro! We hade a private room, very clean and a very comfortable bed. Close to the Ghent Center and to the Dampoort trainstation. So yes, I’ve nothing negative to say of about this place! 🙌🏼
