Lilly is a super woman and I had the privilege to be her guest. There is great area to work (quiet wit great view) for digital nomads, though wifi is not super fast.

This is an absolute gem, one of the best hostels I have been for a while. The hostel is in the middle of the natural park, yet 5 minutes away from town. So you get the best of a quiet beautiful area but still close to the center. The place is perfectly clean, with amazing views in the huge balcony in the upper floor, comfortable sofas, perfectly arranged working areas, and a huge kitchen that you can use for cooking/storing. The rooms have a/c and are spacious and with very comfy beds and hot water shower. But the best is the team: Plinio and Barbara, whom will do anything in their hand to help you in whatever you need, are always there and behave like family. I really hope to get the chance to be back one day because it really shaped my stay in Morro (originally 3 days, ended up staying 7).

Dendê Jazz Hostel e Pousada is set on the beachfront in Morro de São Paulo, a few steps from Second Beach and 1.7 km from Morro de Sao Paulo Fort. I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at Dende Jazz. Fran, our lovely host, made us feel comfortable and at home from the very beginning. He offered us two different rooms at the same price so we were able to pick the one we liked more. The breakfast was simple but perfect (eggs, bread, ham, cheese, fresh fruit and fruit juice, tea, coffee and fried plantains). The location is maybe 25m from Praia 3 and a very short walk to the other beaches. Our room was so nice; super clean, comfortable, great a/c, nice balcony with a hammock and all to ourselves. Fran also informed us about the nightlife in town. Highly recommend!

The staff were lovely and always happy to help or give tips about what to do around Morro. The place is clean, cozy, and has a really nice outdoor area where everyone ends up hanging out. The location is nice and quiet to sleep well. I would definitely stay here again.
