You can play billiards at the hostel, and the area is popular for cycling. Nice rooms, very clean, the showers and bathrooms were clean, and the shared kitchen was super well maintained. Short walk to the main part of town. The woman that checked us in was super welcoming and friendly, and helped us book surf lessons with a great instructor!

Towels are available for a deposit. One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The breakfast selection is great, and the dinner is super delicious. I would definitely stay at this hostel again.

I opted for the bunk bedroom that I fortunately didn't need to share with anyone. I had access to everything from the washing machine to the kitchen and bathroom. I was only sharing with one other person who's residing in a spare room here. The host was a gem with goals of turning this into a wellness retreat. Had an amazing massage/healing treatment for an extra charge but it was so worth it. I think I'm one of the first visitors to her home and I can't recommend it enough. This isn't a hotel so if that's what you're looking for this isn't for you. It's a shared living arrangement in a large basement suite. Hostel style living. 4 minute drive to downtown comox, 4 minutes to tim hortons and McDonald's if that's your thing. Also only a 10 min drive to most beaches.
