Its location, cleanliness, and overall quality are far better than what we’re used to in European hostels. Everything was spotless and well maintained, and the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. One small note – although they didn’t speak English, this wasn’t a problem at all. We still managed to communicate perfectly, and they went out of their way to assist us whenever we needed help. Highly recommended – this has been one of the best hostel experiences we’ve ever had!

It offers both dormitory and private rooms with free WiFi and an international collection of books. My third stay already. Owner speaks good English, is helpful and gives good tips. Rooms a bit older, but charming and clean. Superb location, maybe the best possible in Hangzhou for tourists.
