Liked the relaxed atmosphere because of the plenty of space to sit, work or lie in hammocks, much green plants around. There is a yard inside and a terrace for dining in front of the hostel so you may choose your favourite place. Sleeping is comfortable and not noisy around. The hostel organises different tours and I chose the one telling about the difficult and violent past times of the Medellin and how the new regions are evolving nowadays and becoming artistic centres. Got good insights and understanding of the place so I recommend the tour! +loved a bawl of rresh fruits and musli for breakfast which was included!

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. This hostel is a hidden gem in Medellin. The place was so cheap that I did not expect much, but it really was fantastic. The staff were absolutely brilliant - Raul was the first person I met and he is a real gentleman; as is his son who also works on the premises. They were very patient with my bad Spanish and Irish accent. Desiree is the cleaner who is also a fantastic person, and clearly brilliant at her job as the place is also spotless. She also took care of my laundry and was just excellent in general. The night time staff were also great, and always greeted you with a smile even if you needed to enter the building after lights out. On that end, the place is extremely safe, too. Other things that struck me: There aren't actually that many beds in the building, so facilities such as the kitchen are generally available when you need them, and there is always space in the fridge. Small details, but it makes a difference. I decided to stay here after a lot of busy, extremely social hostels in Poblado, and it was the perfect antidote. It is quiet and definitely not a hostel for making dozens of friends, but that is exactly what I wanted. That is not to say that you can't meet people here; you certainly can, but it's not for big groups and there's obviously no bar, etc. The location is good - you're right beside a metro station, so if you do need to get into the hustle of Poblado (or wherever), you're likely only 30 mins away without having to pay for a taxi. For anyone interested in going to watch any football, this hostel is in an excellent location for the stadium, too. It's walking distance. I am returning to Medellin in a week or two, and I shall be staying here again!

This hostel is definitely the best hostel we have stayed in during our trip around South America. It felt like a hotel and our room was cleaned every day which was so lovely. We also did the fruit tasting and cocktail making class during our stay which was so good and exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend staying here if you are going to Medellin. Great location near to all the tour pick ups and loads of nice restaurants close by to choose from. The restaurant for breakfast was also really good. I just can’t fault it.
Great location, has a big kitchen, rooms are comfortable (we stayed first in a double bed which was great and then in a twin one with bunk bed, which was cheaper but way less room)
Great location which is about 10 mins from metro, easy to get a taxi to the bars, restaurants in walking distance, but most importantly very safe! Shops about 5-10 mins walk away too. The hostel has great kitchen facilities which are kept very clean. We had a private room which was large/spacious and had a nice bathroom.
The Hostel has a great terasse as a public common area. The kitchen at the terasse is hugh, so that is a very comfortable place to cook. It also is a great Co-Working space or just to hang out. The area is very chilled. The Hostel is located next to some sport courts so that it seems like a quite safe area. It is close to Laureles, a good area to stay in Medellín. The people staying there were open and friendly. They are offering a cheap laundry service.
This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Camilo (the owner) is wonderful and makes the atmosphere friendly and relaxed. He also gives the best advice on restaurants and things to do. The hostel is clean and has everything you need, the kitchen is very well equipped. It is a safe and friendly hostel which really feels like home. I ended up staying a lot longer than planned mainly because the hostel is so wonderful.
This was the best hostel experience I’ve ever had in a big city. We felt at home right away - thanks to the coziness of the hostel with its great location but even more chill backyard that makes you forget you’re in the middle of the city. But most thanks go to the awesome staff, especially Jimena for welcoming us and helping us out with any question we had. And the transformation tour organized bY the hostel and guided by Ricky was just perfect.
The best hostel in Medellin! Safe area, nice neighborhood and great staff. Kitchen and social area are compact but this doesnt' matter when you have such a nice environment and good people to meet. Bedrooms are really good, everything extremelly clean (no kidding). Ricardo is always thinking about improving the areas so it is definitly worth going. I stayed 10 days and I would stay much longer! I miss you guys already! Gracias por todo Ricardo!!!
I have to say this is the BEST hostel Iv ever stayed at in my life. The location in El Ponlado is superb there is so much greenery around the areas it’s so nice. I felt really safe as a solo traveller and it was so easy to meet people there. On the roof top they have two hot tubs and each night there is something going on. Maria and Viviana were so nice and welcoming as were all the staff at the Viajero. free drink on arrival too what’s not to like. My room was super clean and comfortable and for sure 100% il be back ❤️🇨🇴
The staff was so sweet and accommodating! You could tell they really cared about making sure all the guests were having a good and comfortable experience. It was a quiet hostel, but you could still meet new people in the common spaces such as the kitchen and front terrace. I appreciated the comfortable bed, good wifi and the neighborhood felt very safe and nice. I would recommend this hostel if you are looking for a more quiet and relaxing place to come back to at the end of your day exploring!
