Loved the fact that the hotel is a family business that has been passed from generation to generation. it has a sense of home in the best ways. the location is great - in historical centre. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We had a perfect time in Otavalo and espacially in the Hotel El geranio. Jannet and her Family were very friendly and helpful planing Tours from Otavalo. I can highly recommend staying there to have a wonderful time in a Family Like surrounding! We felt Like Home, thanks so much again for everything!

Located in the center of the city, Hostal La Rosa Otavalo is offering accommodation in Otavalo. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace and views of the city. I like the location, friendly staff, breakfast, and facilities. Diego took us for a tour for a reasonable price. He also has a good knowledge about the places we went to, we learnt about Ecuador and Indigenous culture. We loved staying in La Rosa Otavalo. We will definitely stay there next time.

Breakfast consisted of eggs, fruit, coffee, juice and a sandwich, all very good. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. I felt safe walking during the day to the main cathedral and parque. The natural beauty of the area is a plus, as Ibarra is surrounded by beautiful mountains.

There are several decks and rooftop areas making the Hostal seem huge and luxurious. Excellent and clean shared kitchen (they're usually not clean, this one is). Rooms are cozy and fairly big. Very secure, extremely professional and well organized staff. Quiet. Strong wifi.

It has an Excellent location near the Ponchos Plaza(basically in the middle of the city), free wifi, nice and clean bedroom with warm sheets and comfy pillows, also warm/hot shower water and a very clean bathroom. Also the owner/reception was very kind , helped me get accommodated.
