Situated in Harlow and with Stansted Mountfitchet Station reachable within 21 km, HARLOW INTERNATIONAL HOSTEL features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. This 3-star hostel offers a shared kitchen. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. The accommodation exceeded my expectations - it was set in beautiful surroundings. The beds in the shared hostel were comfy and the bedding clean, and the bathroom was also clean and tidy. The staff went out of their way to wait for me after the last check-in time of 11.30pm after my flight was delayed and I had to catch a later train from Gatwick to Harlow.

Great location, around 5-10 minutes from the airport. Shuttles are available to- and from the airport for much cheaper than the cost of a taxi or Uber which is great!

I last stayed at the hotel approx., 15 years ago and the room had changed little over that time. There was also a lot of building works going on. Looked like an extension, possibly to the dining room. I guess that was the reason why the dining room was closed. Instead, you could eat in the bar area where there were (possibly) 10 small tables with 1 to 2 covers. Lacked ambiance and the menu was obviously limited but my meal was OK. Wanted a cheap stay whilst travelling so this fitted the bill.

Great location! Easy access via key safe. The price was very good which made up for some issues we had. The pool table/table tennis table was a nice addition and used by us all. Mattresses were comfortable and we had a good couple of nights sleep.

The room had all advertised amenities and was comfortable. The hotel is in a great location on the estuary front, and had a lovely walking zone in the surrounding neighbourhood. Everything felt very safe. The price was good for the quality of the room.
