Situated in Helmsdale and with Dunrobin Castle reachable within 26 km, Helmsdale Lodge Hostel - all rooms en-suite features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests. The manager Maria and the volunteer are super hostpitable and patient to my bad English. I was so lucky to own the whole 4- bed room as I was the only guest booking that room. The location is just aside the main road A 9 which is quite convenient to start off for a cyclist. I was told the hostel used to be a school, so you may find the dining room, living room and bed rooms are quite spacious and roofs are high.

All rooms in the hostel are fitted with a kettle. The rooms will provide guests with a fridge. The hostel was nice and clean. The hosts were nice and very friendly people. The beach is located roughly about 10 minutes walk from the hostel.

Whitewave is located in Monkstadt. Guests can enjoy mountain views.

Benbecula Airport is 84 km away. We liked the view from our room and we liked the kitchen a lot! It was clean and easy to whip up some meals. It saved us a lot of money instead of eating out (and actually not sure where to eat out really...).

Portree Youth Hostel is located in Portree’s city centre. This hostel features a shared dining area and a communal lounge. The property is within 300 metres from many shops, bar and restaurants. Portree’s small port and its coloured houses are 600 metres away. Great location, very comfortable property ! Friendly staff and co-residents. There was a well maintained and clean kitchen as well which came very handy :)

Situated at the foot of Ben Nevis, the long-established Glen Nevis Youth Hostel is just 3 miles from the large town of Fort William. It offers easy access to high and low-level walks, mountain biking, kayaking and other adventure sports. Amazing location, just on the river, at the foot of Ben Nevis. No better starting point for the hike. Spacious lobby, nice decor, well equipped kitchen Rooms & beds- all right.

Just a few minutes’ walk from Fort Augustus on the edge of Loch Ness, this award-winning lodge offers four-star hostel accommodation with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Fort William is 30 miles away. I liked everything. Clean everywhere, friendly staff.
