I stayed in a female dormitory, the girls bathroom was right outside the room which was very convenient. Everything was super clean. The location of the hostel is great, quiet neighbourhood, streets around hostel towards the city center felt safe also during the night. 20-25min walk to the city center and only 10min away from any public transport that can get you anywhere, there is a supermarket only 5min away. I didn't really use the kitchen but it was big and seemed to have everything you could need.

Onefam Budapest se nachází 300 metrů od zastávky Deák Ferenc Tér, odkud jezdí 3 linky budapešťského metra a autobusové a tramvajové linky. This is a really good hostel with Nice people managing. Its pretty much the perfect social experience if you are young (or young at heart) and looking to assimilate all that budapest has to offer. There are dailly activities in the afternoon and in the night, so you may experience both turistic attractions and Budapest nightlife. Rooms are also separated from social interaction places such as the bar and music stops at night inside the hostel, wich may help you sleep a little better. Its not the place if you just want to be quiet and have a good night sleep as there are no private rooms and you may be waked by your roomates. But for those of you who dont mind sharing a bathroom, a meal or the occasional noise its a really Nice place to experience Budapest. thanks to all the staff, Julian, Danica, José Angel and Karen and my most special thanks to Inês and Vinicius who made this trip Amazing. Mustache Hostel se nachází v atraktivní lokalitě ve čtvrti 08. Józsefváros v destinaci Budapešť. I stayed in a private room and it was fantastic. The place is only 3 months old, so everything is clean and modern. Nice espresso machine available anytime, good for early risers like me 😄. Staff were always friendly and polite. I only stayed one night but definitely will return to stay for longer. Great location

Perfect space, perfect privacy, two toilets + two bathrooms (total of 4 service rooms) for the total of 8 people — makes bathrooms and toilets insanely accessible. Also, separate space for cleaning the teeth (also, two separate areas). Also an area for changing the clothes privately with the mirror. This hotel is more convenient than most hotels.

I don't understand the question about the price matching my expectations, which were very high. I liked everything, including the hostel's Himalayan look, having spent several years in that region.

The location up on the Hill gives it such a special atmosphere, with greenery and views of the city. The hosts Julien and Stefan were kind, funny and attentive, really making a difference in my stay. The house itself is clean, cozy, and has a great community feel. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants something more personal and memorable than just a standard stay. I cant wait to visit again!!

Carpe Noctem Hostel se nachází v ideální lokalitě v centru města Budapešť a nabízí pokoje s klimatizací, sdílený lounge a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Carpe has been more than just a hostel, it's an experience of a lifetime. The hostel is set up just like a massive apartment of a friend's, so everyone is more or less pushed towards getting to know each other and making fast friends in a couple of hours is a given. There is a perfect balance of feeling right at home and being so lively and social that no two nights ever feel the same. The staff during my stay have not only been super friendly but you can tell they're genuinely invested in making sure everyone feels included and has an unforgettable time. They have family dinners and drinking games every night before the staff takes everyone out for different activities like pub crawl, boat or a bus party, bowling, etc. So there is plenty to do even for a week that I kept extending my stay. Special shoutout to Gemma who was so helpful in getting me settled in and lifted my mood after a long and tiresome trip getting into the city: she made the check-in process very entertaining by singing Hungarian folk songs, gave me great recommendations for things to do in the city as well as hostel reccs for the next cities of my trip. If you want to meet incredible, like-minded people who always want to have a good time and experience Budapest in the most life-changing way possible, this hostel is the way to go.
