Zzz Malang is hands down the best budget-friendly hostel in town. The dorm room was spacious and had good ventilation. The bunk beds were comfortable, and each bed had its own power socket and towel. The bathrooms were spotless and fully stocked with essentials. The hostel is in a quiet area, but a 10-minute Grab ride takes you to the train station. Lila was very welcoming and helped me book transport to Yogyakarta. Highly recommended for backpackers looking for comfort without breaking the bank!

Zzz Ijen Hostel está ubicado en Banyuwangi, a 15 km de Watu Dodol, y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis y una terraza. I loved basically everything about this property! Great location, very clean, comfy room with aircon, well priced, extremely friendly and helpful staff. You can buy food/snacks for a reasonable price and they have free coffee and tea as well as hot and cold filtered water. Has a nice little balcony where you can watch the rain. Not incredibly social, but it’s also off season so I can’t imagine there would be anywhere more social in the area to be honest. Was clear about the fact that the blue fire at Ijen would not be available the days we were there and the staff was not pushy at all about buying tours, just very helpful. Honestly one of the best price to experience ratios I’ve ever gotten at a hostel, and the perfect place to chill or prepare for a hike. Also one of the cutest cats I’ve ever seen if my life lives here, she is friendly and very funny.

La atención fue increíble, sin duda el toque especial fue que nos dejaron el desayuno en el refrigerador para llevarlo con nosotros al siguiente día ya que no nos era posible esperar a la hora de los alimentos debido a nuestro itinerario.

Loved the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms. Each bed has space next to it and an assigned locker. The staff are so friendly, they recommended lots of places to eat and booked us onto a Mount Ijen tour. There is a nice kitchen space with tea and coffee. We loved this stay and would defo stay again.

This guesthouse is amazing! The owner is very friendly. We could wash our clothes in the guesthouse (for free). It's located near some nice antique stores and cafes. The place is quiet and well kept.
