Zzz Malang is hands down the best budget-friendly hostel in town. The dorm room was spacious and had good ventilation. The bunk beds were comfortable, and each bed had its own power socket and towel. The bathrooms were spotless and fully stocked with essentials. The hostel is in a quiet area, but a 10-minute Grab ride takes you to the train station. Lila was very welcoming and helped me book transport to Yogyakarta. Highly recommended for backpackers looking for comfort without breaking the bank!

I had an amazing stay at Good Feeling the staff were super friendly, and the hostel had a great vibe. The Ijen Crater tour was incredible, with stunning views and a well organized trip. Highly recommend it!

Objekt Sastro Place smješten je u Yogyakarti, u krugu od 15 min hoda od znamenitosti Muzej Sonobudoyo, a sadrži uslugu konsijerža, sobe, vanjski bazen, besplatan WiFi u cijelom objektu i vrt. The staff is so nice ! We forgot part of our luggage and the staff was able to make a shipping arrangement for us and got our things mailed to another hotel further on our trip! Amazing ! The laundry service is also very nice to have at your doorstep.

Over the years of traveling, I have seen many hostels. This one is among the best, comparable to Seattle hostels. Very clean, comfortable, everything is well-organized in the house, comfortable sleeping places. The owner is very hospitable! Right on the spot, they organized a tour to the volcano Ijen for me, for which I came here. The place is quiet, calm, on the river bank, but there are no mosquitoes. A dream of a perfectionist traveler!😃

Everything about this place is just top notch! Highly recommend this place to those looking for accommodation before their trip to Ijen or just exploring the city.

Objekt ZEN MOON Hostel smješten je u Yogyakarti, na 3,4 km od znamenitosti Sultanova palača, te sadrži smještaj s klima-uređajem i vrt. Zen Moon is one of those places that stays in your memory long after you leave. The house itself is charming and full of character, with a small, peaceful garden with turtles and golden fishes. The room is small but simply magical. The bed, covered with a delicate mosquito net and soft batik sheets, made me feel like a princess every night. But the real highlight is the bathroom. It’s a pure zen oasis, open to the sky, surrounded by greenery, and so beautifully designed that taking a shower feels like bathing in the jungle. The location couldn’t be better, just a few steps from some of the nicest restaurants and cafés in the neighborhood. If you’re coming to Yogyakarta, don’t think twice; Zen Moon is a little paradise you’ll be grateful to have found.
