Old Mill Holiday Hostel is located in Westport and housed in a historic building dating back to around 1780. Free WiFi access is available, as well as a shared kitchen. Other facilities offered at the property include a shared lounge. I stayed here very very last minute after missing the last train home. It was quite late in the evening and the reception manager was incredibly helpful. They called me before I arrived and helped me have a smooth check in, they showed me to my room and the facilities. They were very friendly and accommodating.

In the bathroom were various toiletries (thanks for the body lotion - that was just what I needed) and in the room there were drinking glasses, cups, en electric kettle, tea (pls check on the coffee). Foxford is said to be a fisher’s paradise. -Well, I don’t fish, but I had good fun at Guiry’s Bar that night which is in walking distance from this accommodation. Since she didn’t have anyone else coming in the next day, she let me sleep in and leave whenever I was ready. (Thanks again)
