This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. Great location, friendly staff and really good breakfast. Our little cottage was incredibly cosy and perfect for our 1-night-stay. There is a tiny church and cemetery on the grounds which adds an interesting/historical touch.

Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. I was concerned about it being a Hostel, but my concerns were completely unfounded. We had a room with a private bathroom it was right near the kitchen. The kitchen was clean & had plenty of room for multiple people to cook. Had a private space for our room for non-parishables. & a big refrigerator with some share items that was nice. The fan & lights over the stove were confusing but I pushed enough buttons & finally got the light & fan over my station to come one.

This place is exactly in the middle of the tundra surrounded by very stunning landscapes and mountains. The atmosphere is absolutely magnificent. This actually is a whole camp with a restaurant and a café and a bar with all the infrastructure; and the hostel itself is very pleasant and nice and clean and cosy; I will definitely come back :)

Hafaldan HI Hostel - Harbour Building se nachází v destinaci Seyðisfjörður a poskytuje ubytování s sdíleným loungem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a vybavením pro grilování. Absolutely lovely stay here, there is a beautiful cat there to greet you (Brossi I believe his name was). The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The shared kitchen and lounge area is very cosy and there are music instrument to play around with too.
