Fantastic hostel in a gorgeous little town. Central location, all the shops are within walking distance. The hostel was clean and the beds were comfy. The kitchen/dining room area is really lovely, such a nice spot to sit and hang out and look out the window at the town. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious enough for multiple guests to cook at the same time. Sauna on the bottom floor is also nice.
Staff were friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Husey Hostel. The place is charming and our rooms were very comfortable and big. We met people from all over the world in the common areas. The staff was incredibly kind as well. Our daughter forgot her very dear doll in the bed and Elisabet and Laufey were kind enough to ship it all the way back to us. We were also able to visit the Puffin colony about an hour away from the hostel. Overall a wonderful experience.

A fantastic hostel in a great location. We were in room 12 which was a double with bathroom and a view of the mountains. There were great facilities including a sauna and we were able to stay until the boat left despite having checked out. We thought it was the best hostel we have stayed in. We would definitely stay again if we came back to Seydisfjordur. Thank you to the owners and staff.

Amazing hostel. Super clean. Well organised. Everything that you need for a night or a few was there. Clean towels, bedsheets. Essentials in the kitchen. Clean hallway. Good equipped bathroom etc.

The property had a hostel atmosphere (i.e., lively). It is located a short drive from Ring Road and conveniently accessible. It felt like it was a popular place. Rooms were very basic, as expected in a hostel setting. You have to collect keys from a different location as given in the instructions. The front desk was open very late. The hotel is located in a town. It has a well-equipped common kitchen which was heavily used when we were there.
