I went in February which seemed to be the off season. There weren’t many people staying here. But Takamatsu seemed to be a little bit off the beaten path for the typical foreign travel route. This city has so much potential and I hope to see more people come here and stay at this hostel in the future! This hostel company has a few different hostels in the more popular parts of Japan, so perhaps they see the potential of this area as well. There was tons of great things to do around, I ended up island hopping and found so many cool things! This property was great and i really recommend it.

One of my favorite stays on the Henro. Veggie friendly for meals, card friendly, English is spoken. We booked a private room and it was just beautiful. Down to the smallest detail, everything was so well thought of. Would love to stay again.

For walking Henro, it couldn't be more convenient, right on the trail. The host is a friendly guy who operates a very fine bar as well. We loved the interaction had there with other guests, sharing some fine Nihonshu. The showers were excellent, and the bunk beds very comfortable, a great place to chill.
