The owner’s warm and welcoming personality adds to the charm of this stay. They shared many insights about the history and highlights of Asuke, making me feel as though I had become a part of this beautiful town. I stayed in a single room, which was spacious and comfortable, offering a relaxing experience. The restrooms and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained, and to top it off, there was even an open-air bath. It was the perfect way to unwind and soothe my travel fatigue. This is a place I would love to return to as a base for exploring Asuke.

Open from June 2015, Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel offers modern accommodation, just a 7-minute walk from JR Nagoya Station. Guests can enjoy various beverages at the on-site bar or cafe. Everything in the hostel is reflecting the owner‘s care and kindness. The room and toilets are super clean, the bed is super cozy, the facilities are super useful.

This hostel is now one of my favorites that I’ve tried in Japan. The facilities are very clean, beautiful, and modern. The decoration is carefully chosen, and the bed is extremely comfortable; even the bath towels smell wonderfully fresh. It’s also extremely rare to find showers so well equipped, with both quality hygiene products and a real walk-in shower. It was my first time seeing this in Japan, and it made my stay even more enjoyable. On top of that, the hostel manager is very welcoming and accommodating, which made the whole experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend this hostel ,you can really feel the effort and attention put into making every stay as comfortable as possible. If I have time at the end of my trip, I’ll definitely come back! Thank you again.

So many great places to explore nearby and the owners are the sweetest. They can give you lots of advice on what do and see. The onsen was very nice as well. It was nice to find an affordable, tradition ryokan in an amazing location.
