I was there one night and the staff was good it was clean and the bed was ready when I arrived they gave me an early check in they gave me a small discount and a water bottle during checkout and there was no one during my stay only one guest apart from me and the breakfast was good

The garden environment is lovely, with many monkeys in the trees, making it feel like staying in a small forest. It was a very pleasant and unique experience.

The private room I had was clean and comfortable. The hosts were both so sweet and pleasant to interact with. Lastly proximity to Cargill’s Food City really sealed the deal.

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, taking us to some great hidden gems where we would watch sunset or take a small walk. It is very spacious and relatively well equipped and I know that they are still growing so it will only get better!

I don’t usually give full ratings, but this hostel absolutely deserves it. The family managing the place is so kind and welcoming. Beautiful and quiet location surrounded by nature, excellent service, meals prepared upon request, and very fair prices. A wonderful experience I truly recommend!

Such a lovely place and a very nice and helpful host. It’s in a quiet and peaceful area but not too far from everything. And the host is always ready to help you organize any kind of trip and help out with the transportation. Highly recommend the breakfast :)

I had an issue with booking (not the hostels fault!) and they try to fix everything. They were lovely and the food was amazing. It is bit far outside but you can always get a ride with the Tuk Tuk they have at the hostel

What was meant to be a two-night stay turned into five and that already says everything. The Travel Tree Hostel is a newly opened place, lovingly built and run by Maliya, the owner. From the first moment, you feel his warmth and dedication. It doesn’t feel like staying in a hostel, but like being welcomed into someone’s home. Breakfast was always included, and in the evenings Maliya‘s mother cooked for us. The food was outstanding fresh, full of flavor and prepared with so much love. She even used herbs and some ingredients from her own garden, which she proudly showed me. It made every meal feel authentic and special. The hostel has six beds, personal lockers, one shared bathroom and air conditioning. It is designed in a treehouse style, surrounded by lush jungle. In the mornings you wake up to birdsong and nature sounds real jungle feeling, yet very comfortable. The little terrace in front of the door is also incredible… Maliya‘s brother Sean runs his own tuk-tuk company and showed us several beautiful places around the area, driving us around and guided us to some interesting places. Everything was relaxed and easy. Every evening, if guests would like to join, Maliya personally walks with them to a small nearby hill, free of charge, to watch the sunset with a stunning view over Lion’s Rock. It’s such a special and peaceful moment. He also arranged our safari to the national park with a friend, and we went there together. It was an incredible experience, perfectly organized and truly memorable. This place is more than accommodation…it’s a heartfelt family experience. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authenticity, kindness and nature. Thanks you so much for this incredible experience!!

This hostel is without a doubt a perfect place to stay. It has such calm and positive vibes, making it ideal for relaxing. The owner is very kind, welcoming, and always ready with helpful information. Cleanliness is maintained at the highest standard, which adds to the comfort. The breakfast is far above the usual hostel standard—more like what you’d expect in a 3–4 star hotel. Overall, it’s a wonderful experience filled with good energy, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and memorable stay.
