At the hostel, the rooms come with a balcony. All rooms have a safety deposit box. It's in a very good location, central in the medina, next to the old university. The riad is an old family house, with traditional Moroccan architecture and a rooftop from Wich you have a nice view of the city. There are instruments and shisha's. The host and his aid are very friendly and hospital. I stayed here my first few nights of my journey and decided to come back because it was so nice. I had to take a very long night bus and the host let me in after check-in, and permitted me to sleep after check-out hours. He even let me use a private room because it was already morning and other people where already awake in the shared dorm!!! This is very representative of the hospitality of Maroco. It's all thanks to Omar who works so diligently 24 hours a day to not only accommodate everybody's needs and to ensure the comfort of all the guests, but to build a community and a sense of family. From group meals to music nights, Omar really creates magical memories and strong bonds that last far longer than you can imagine. Over the past two weeks, Omar and I have met many people who came and went and created so many great bonds and special memories together like a family. I'm totally heartbroken that it's my turn to say good bye to Omar who very quickly became my brother. Omar is so caring, generous, thoughtful, accommodating, kind, gentle, fun, knowledgeable and talented; he is worthy of so much praise and is deserving of a better working environment. It is because of my brother Omar that I strongly recommend coming here. Should Omar decide to leave and work at a different place then my recommendation will follow him. I want to thank everybody who made my time here so special; all the wonderful guests, Hanan who cleans and prepares breakfast in the mornings, and especially Omar with whom I've created memories I will cherish for a lifetime.
