Very simple and pristine… exactly what you need to view the northern lights without even trying. We could see it through the night within the comfort of our room… just please go for it. We drove there and carried a lot of our own food - our kitchen in our family room was adequate for anything we needed to cook. The family rooms can easily accommodate 5-6 ppl I feel.. also we tried their sauna and dip in the lake, while the lake is at least a 20 steps away from the sauna to jump in - it’s bang in the middle of snow clad mountains- so no complaints from us.

Situated at the very end of the Lofoten Islands, this accommodation is located above a Stockfish museum (unfortunately closed during our winter visit) and right next to the bus stop, just a 2-3 minute walk away. There's a fairly big parking spot, making it easy to get to and from nearby destinations like Reine, Moskenes, and Hamnøy. The neighborhood is charmingly quaint, and we had a fantastic view of the ocean from our room. Check-in was smooth, with everything communicated via the Booking.com app. Inside, it's warm and cozy, with towels provided. There's plenty of room for luggage, and the kitchen is cute and equipped with all the basic amenities for cooking simple meals. One tip: there are no convenience or grocery stores nearby, so be sure to bring supplies if you plan to cook for yourself. There were some condiments and spices available for free use when we were there. Huge thumbs up for the location, value for money, and amenities. We'd love to stay here again during the summer!

The place has such a positive energy and it’s perfect for meeting inspiring people from all over the world. I can only recommend staying here. it really felt like a little home away from home.

We were lucky to get a room at the ground floor. More parking spaces outside.
