Towels and linen are provided. Filippa has created a safe home away from home where the stress just melts away. I originally intended to stay one night, and then I extended for another, and then another. I probably would have stayed for weeks if time allowed. I stayed in the all female dorm and had a VIP corner with a window view. It's rare to find such an amazing hostel that is clean, welcoming and peaceful. A place I hope to visit back again one day.

I immediately felt relaxed and taken care of. Everyone is very friendly and open:)

The property also offers a luggage storage space. It surprised me how many of the people have visited the hostel before when I just arrived, but after a few nights you perfectly understand why. Incredibly relaxing atmosphere with very welcoming staff. The hostel is also nicely located in order to make daytrips to various locations in the Algarve region.

Hostel on the Hill offers accommodation in Hortas do Tabual 10 km from Sagres. The hostel offers a large garden with a barbecue and hammocks where guests can socialize and enjoy their meals.

A range of activities are offered in the area, such as surf classes, dolphin watch, kayak tours and mountain biking. Lagos is 18 km from Hostel on the Hill, while Portimão is 31 km away. The nearest airport is Faro Airport, 81 km from Hostel on the Hill. Martin is very friendly, helpfull and always has a good tip for places to see/surf. Atmosphere and the hostel could not be better. Will definately come back!

Located in the historical centre of Lagos, a 10-minute walk from the Batata Beach, Olive Hostel Lagos offers accommodation in dormitories as well as private rooms. There is a colourful patio and an on-site bar which offers a welcoming ambience. Free WiFi is available. This hostel was fantastic! It wasn’t a party hostel, had a nice chill vibe and everyone was very friendly, including all of the staff! The hostel was very clean, the staff were often cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen. It was in a great location in the old town, close to everything I needed including a laundromat, fruit shop and the beach. The bottom bunks had a privacy curtain and all beds had a little fan which was great!

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. It is located in a calm, clean and quiet street. I was given a warm reception. I was picked up in a car from the bus station at no extra cost and was warmly welcome into the property. My birthday fell within the week of my stay and I was surprised to get a nice Portuguese snack to celebrate my birthday by the hosts. The pastel de nata (Portuguese local snack) and orange juice was a great one. I can't stress this enough, the staffs are extremely accommodating and helpful. Ready to help you with anything within their means, also gave me a great boat ride recommendation to Ponta da Piedade, totally loved it. Y'all rock!
