This guest house was the most pleasant hotel/hostel in my trip to Portugal. The host, Virginia, is very kind and welcoming. The takes a great care about the house. Castaway has all necessities for a comfortable stay - clean beds, towel, lockers, hairdryer, little curtains for privacy in the room. Breakfast with a fresh fruit is a nice touch. Also I loved a cozy courtyard - perfect for reading with a cup of tea.

Located in Peniche, 1.3 km from Almagreira Beach, FreeSurfCamp provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. We stayed in a private family room and it was huge! Very well equipped and clean. It was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and the staff super nice. We definitely want to go back.

Situated in Baleal, Surf House Peniche offers beachfront accommodation 400 metres from Baleal Camping Beach and features various facilities, such as free bikes, a shared lounge and a terrace. Cozy and spacious hostel with fireplace inside, Luis(the owner of hostel)was very friendly and informative, you can take surflessons from him. There are a lot of surfboards and wetsuits to rent. Hostel is a bit far from the beach but a nice walk through the dunes makes it pleasant.

Right across the street from Supertubos Beach, this hostel is located in one of the premier surfing spots in Portugal. people are nice. They try to help you whatever you need

Set in Pataias and with Paredes de Vitoria Beach reachable within 100 metres, Paredes Surf House offers concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and... Everything was perfect: the location, the proximity to the beach, and the cleanliness. The beds were comfortable, and the manager, Carlos Pereira, was friendly, attentive, and helpful. I've never had a better hostel experience than this one.

33 Hostel - Youth Hostel 18 to 35 Only in Baleal provides adults-only accommodation with a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. The staff (Paulo & Marra) were fantastic! They make you feel so at home and feel like long time friends after only a short stay! The hostel is spacious and secure with one wristband to open everything which was very convenient. All the spaces were exceptionally clean and the breakfast on offer was great! Social activities were well organised and a great way to mix with the other guests - I really didn’t want to leave! Surf rental was super cheap and convenient too!!
