Snickaren Vandrarhem i Grästorp - Egen Lägenhet - Own apartments encontra-se em Grästorp, a 27 km de Estação Ferroviária de Vänersborg e a 27 km de Estação Ferroviária de Trollhättan. Good value for money. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. A nice yard with many fruit plants and toys to have fun with. We were free to pick some berries and apples. A little bit drive about one and half hour to almost all popular sites on the west coast, but considering the price and difficulties finding accommodations on west coast during peak season, it is surely a good choice. We travel as a family of 4 adults and 1 kid. The rooms are very well prepared with 4 single beds and surprisingly an extra folding bed which isn't shown on the room pictures. So none of us need to share a bed. Beds are very comfortable for a good sleep. Definitely come back again.

Easy check-in, high hygienic standards, big and well equipped kitchen and common areas, nice surroundings and comfortable rooms. All in all a very pleasant stay. Felt like home ;)

We had a fantastic time at this gem of a location. Three of us stayed in a room and stopped off there for two nights as part of a road trip through Sweden. The staff were kind and helpful and indulged me when I wanted to practice Swedish! The facilities were great, it's by far the best camping/hostel I've been to. It wasn't overly busy either which makes for a nice relaxing getaway. There were many options at the buffet breakfast and a kitchen that you can also use. The weather was nice so we were able to enjoy breakfast outdoors overlooking the neighbouring horse farm. We arrived late at night [midnight] (and saw a moose by the road just as you get off the main road and into the village!) and the keys had been left for us inside our allocated room, as previously explained on the phone. The beds are comfortable and the communal showers were also very clean and well maintained. Overall, a faultless stay- thank you so much!

Perssons i Backens Pensionat- Sjötorps Vandrarhem & Rum situa-se em Sjötorp, a 20 km de Mariestad Train Station, e dispõe de acomodações com bicicletas gratuitas, estacionamento privado gratuito, um... Great Bed and Breakfast in a lovely town right next to the biggest lake in Sweden. We stayed only for one night but could have stayed way longer. Very friendly host that runs a restaurant with delicious Fish and Chips in the same street. Breakfast was also superb. And what a great area, great spot to explore the lake, the Gotta canal with it's beautiful locks and multiple Nature Reserves.

This hostel is in Karlstad, 5 minutes’ drive from the city centre. It offers functional rooms with access to a common room with kitchen and TV. Wi-Fi and on-site parking are free. It’s a really cosy and quiet place to stay in Carlstad. The lady at the reception is the kindest person I've met in Sweden. The breakfast that she prepared was quite filling as well. The place has a big kitchen and lots of utensils at your disposal. The rooms and lavatories were extremely clean. You can use the public transport or you can just walk to reach the hostel. I personally walked and it’s a walkable distance from the city center. Make sure to bring your own sheets or you can just rent them at the reception. Overall 10/10
