Top top top level. Extended my stay twice. Clean, cosy, it feels like home. Amazing WiFi and great for remote working. Lovely people, super social but not a party hostel. Perfect for people in their 30s or above (no kids partying)

The Funky Monkey Hostel - 18 to 40 years old only ligger i Haad Rin och har en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en bar. Ideally located hostel with a nice vibe. We had a spacious and clean double room, the manager, Julius was really helpful throughout our stay including when we had an issue with a taxi driver ordered through the hostel. He fixed it immediately and made sure everything was ok. Definitely recommend!

Purple House - Female only Boutique hostel ligger i Koh Phangan, 6 minuters promenad från Baan Kai strand, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en... The Purple House is situated on a main road, but several miles from city center. You will have several restaurants and convenience stores just across the street. There is also a beach nearby. All of that is within easy walking distance. If you want to go to the city center, you will need to use taxis. It’s not a big deal, they are very easy to get, and Amanda will even give you information for a taxi service you can text directly. You can also rent a scooter, but beware because we saw many bandaged up people from scooter accidents and the hospital bills are $6,000+ Just factor the taxis into the cost of your stay here. The atmosphere is nice. Amanda is really friendly and helpful. She will answer you quickly every time. She wants your stay to be nice. The house has 8 beds, a mini fridge and a kettle, a bathroom, and a main gathering space. When I stayed we had 5 and we had no problem taking turns with the bathroom and we did okay with only cooking instant noodles using a kettle. The only part that was frustrating was trying to keep the main area cooled off. We would get the temperature just right and then the housekeeping would come clean and leave the doors to the outside open for an hour and it would get hot again. If they would just keep the doors closed when they cleaned the house would have stayed cooler. I would definitely recommend this house for women traveling. It felt so safe and it was really nice to have automatic friends. Amanda and her husband have done a great job creating that.

Moon Dolphin Hostel ligger i Haad Rin, en kort bit från Haad Rin Nok strand och 6 minuters promenad från Leela strand, och erbjuder rum med luftkonditionering och delat badrum. The hostel is in perfect location in Haad Rin - walking distance to anything in the area. Especially for the full moon party, it was a two minute walk maybe even less! The hostel is family run and the family go above and beyond to make the stay memorable. There was free water, snacks and coffee. We ended up extended our stay here and was one of our favourite hostels!

Penny Hostel & Cafe ligger i Thongsala, 4 minuters promenad från Thong Sala strand, och har en gemensam lounge, rökfria rum samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Först o främst var personalen underbar! Vänliga, hjälpsamma, glada o ’goa’. Läget nära piren o mitt i staden gjorde allting enklare! Stora sängar med gardiner gjorde det privat trots att vi var 8 st i rummet!! Dessutom var det tvättservice med bra pris i samma lokal.
