This place is only around 10-15 min by tuk-tuk to the center of the city, so very good location! The place is small, only 4-5 rooms, and it is taken care by a group of 4 amazing girls that treated us very kindly. They are excellent cooks, and very good company - we enjoyed talks in the fireplace with them, and the two baby cats Simba and Señorita. Breakfast and dinner are delicious and abundant, and you can try many typical food from Tanzania. On the first day we had a late arrival and they waited for us and cooked us some dinner, that was very nice from the girls :) We really enjoyed our time in Swahili Villa and would recommend it to everyone that is staying in the city for one or a few days.

The food was absolutely delicious — every meal felt like it was prepared with great care and fresh ingredients, offering local flavors. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. One of the biggest highlights was how well they arranged all the transportation for our tours and airport pickups/drop-offs. After a long day out, it was great to come back to such a quiet and comfortable place to rest. I'll definitely be back! Asante sana!

Beautiful room, loved the scenery outside, and the nature chill out space at Kingstone Asilia just next-door was great for a solo traveller as the hosts were so friendly and had other guests visiting just for socialising. He also told me I'd be welcome to invite any of my own friends over in the future too for drinks or dinner :) Hosts were amazing and made me feel safe and welcome during my stay; also had great local recommendations! Highly recommend to any travellers!
