Tiki Beach Hostel

Historic Lahaina Front Street, Lahaina

Built around a Tiki Garden, this unique boutique hostel features free hiking, snorkeling, and beach tours. It is located at the beach in Lahaina. It offers shared accommodation with free WiFi.

The air-conditioned dormitory rooms at this hostel offer an outdoor shower and toilet. Towels can be provided at an additional cost. This place is a must visit for hostel enthusiasts, up there with American legends like the Green Tortoise of San Francisco and the India House of New Orleans. It's a one of a kind gem featuring a highly social indoor/outdoor environment. I was in the bamboo room under a huge fan enjoying cool, fresh sleep every night. I stayed a week, feel in love with the Lahaina and the local wave, and was dancing the Hula with lighthearted fellow travelers by the time I left.

Central Maui Hostel

Featuring a restaurant, Central Maui Hostel is set in Wailuku in the Hawaii region, 5 km from Iao Valley State Park and 5 km from Iao Needle State Monument. The property is located 2.6 km from Maui War Memorial Center, 4 km from Tropical Gardens of Maui and 7 km from Waihee Coastal Dunes and Wetlands Preserve. Very quiet, except for the roosters that are everywhere and they’re noisy, however what can you do, it is their nature and their island. I would recommended this hostel if you’re looking for a reasonable price accomodation on Maui. The island is spectacular
