Situated in Cat Ba, 2.9 km from Xuan Dam Beach, Republic Hostel Cat Ba features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. I don’t even know where to start! This is by far the best hostel I stayed in in Vietnam. The hostel owner is the kindest and sweetest person you can imagine and all of the staff are so nice and helpful with everything. I never felt so welcomed in a hostel. Everyone speaks very good english so it’s easy to communicate and they all giving you good advice and recommendations on what to do. The Hostel has a pool, pool table and bar, what do you want more? This makes it also really easy to meet people as a solo traveller. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The hostel is a bit out of town, which I actually really enjoyed since you get a bit of peace and quiet and you can rent out scooters for a cheap price at the hostel, so it’s easy to get around. Definitely join one of the family dinners which was absolutely delicious and try the self made wine. If I would have had more time, I would have stayed longer. I can definitely recommend to anyone to stay there.

Situated on beautiful Cat Ba Island, The Oversleep Catba Hostel sits along Lan Ha Bay and is just a 10-minute walk from Cat Ba Market and steps from the ferry terminal. The staff is amazing. From the first moment I felt so welcomed. If I had any questions they would know the answers or help me to the right tools. The hostel itself is very modern (it just openend) and clean. The beds are good and the toilets and shower are nice (and seperated from eachother). In the evening they have a happy hour when you get free beer at the pool bar. We had lots of fun! I only booked one night but that quickly became two because I had a great time ☺️

I spent three days in this beautiful place surrounded by mountains in the lush green nature! It's remote from city and that's it's previledge! There's great swimming pool and restaurant with good food! Staff was very helpful, they even picked me up from bus stop and dropped me off on day on my departure!! If I come again to Cat Ba I'll stay here for sure!! Thank you for everything!!

Set 5 km from the city centre, Cat ba beach house offers accommodation with free WiFi access. the property has an on-site restaurant and bar. It was a very good experience to stay at the bungalow on the shore. Nice staffs, comfortable facilities, and amazing location for my trip. I wish I could have stayed longer.
