Central Backpackers Hostel - Phong Nha has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and restaurant in Phong Nha. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and a 24-hour front desk. This is the best hostel in town, believe me - I tried. After staying one night I decided to go to a different hostel because I wanted less of a party vibe, but I came back to this hostel afterwards because I realized it has the best facilities. The beds are super comfortable and clean with curtains and shelf room, the dorm is quiet and very clean and an A/C was working in the room to insure comfortable temperature (fans also available), huge lockers, boiling hot water in the shower (though not sure if it runs out at some point) with great water pressure. The breakfast was an all-you-can-eat buffet with eggs made to order and even some fruit and vegetables. Also, there were many extra toilets and showers on the first floor so even if the en-suite in the room is occupied you can use them instead. I was very impressed with the facilities in this place, it's very rare in Vietnam. The staff was also super helpful with everything and spoke good English. Also, all the inter-city buses stop at this hostel so it's super comfortable when traveling to or from Phong Nha.

Guests at the hostel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Phong Nha, like hiking and cycling. I loved everything about this place! The location is quiet with a beautiful view from the river side garden. They offer free breakfast in the garden every morning which was so nice. They have a really good range of tours you can book through them! We had been looking ourselves online but after booking this place Tuyen Kindly forwarded me their tours and we saw the perfect one for a much better price than I was seeing online. They can also book buses for you. For us, we took the local bus to Dong Hoi and Tuyen called the driver for us to let them know where to pick us up :) They offer free bicycles! You can take a short ride into the town area where there are lots of nice restaurants and cafes and shops! They also do motorcycle rentals. Super clean place, friendly staff all around great :)

Great location, big rooms and very helpfull staff, helped us close tours for the paradise cave, dark cave, and phong nha.

At the hostel, all rooms include a balcony with a mountain view. The rooms have a private bathroom fitted with a bidet and a hairdryer, while selected rooms also boast a kitchen equipped with a fridge. Great stay! I checked in at 4AM after the Ninh Binh bus no problem. The dorm and the whole facility were sparkling clean. Rooms were quiet — I slept like a rock. The bathrooms were large! Hot hot shower. The pool and the atmosphere of the whole place was great. Location was a short walk from town. As a host, Du was communicative well before my stay, and he was super helpful for any questions I had. The whole family really cares about your stay and were so kind and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again!

Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Phong Nha Amanda Homestay also feature a city view. All guest rooms at the accommodation feature air conditioning and a desk. We had a wonderful stay at Amanda Homestay. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful with motorbikes, taxis, busses, etc. We were also lucky enough to meet Amanda, who is such a sweet, kind and funny girl. Would always come back to this homestay!!! 10/10

The Palm Lodge is a lovely new hostel right in the center of Phong Nha. It only opened a few weeks ago, and you can really feel how passionate the owner, Hung, is about his place! Hung and his staff genuinely care about your well-being and always make sure you feel at home. On top of that, they run a small restaurant where you can enjoy delicious local dishes – everything I tried was fresh and tasty! If you need help booking tours or rentals, they’re more than happy to assist and give helpful advice. All in all, I had a great stay at The Palm Lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Phong Nha!

They were very nice and helped us organize our next journey and provided an affordable taxi to Dong Hoi
