The A/C not working at all in room and I try to call 2 time and asked for maintenance but no one come to help Also we asked for water thy not give for free but all the rest hotel in Dubai they give for free, They said it will be charged in bell I accepted I call 3 time for water they did not bring it, And it was at night until next day afternoon when check out time they didn't bring and when we spoke to reception they did not apologize at all, sorry for big hotel with this very bad attitude

the security on the entrance to the beach club was not very polite, I understand it was the curfew and all but there is a certain way to speak to customers. beach area is quite small.
the area of the hotel is very green, I felt like I'm in tropical island, rooms are simple and cosy

The staff made our holiday, they were so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We got a free room upgrade when we arrived and the room was lovely, and cleaned every day with fresh toiletries, towels and water stocked up. The restaurants were lovely, but the buffet dinners near the beach were the best - the food was so fresh every night and so much choice. The breakfast buffet was also great, so much choice! The gym was really well equipped and bigger than most resorts I have stayed in. Would definitely go back here again!

The floor in the family room was dirty with shoe prints all over it. The view was at a narrow lawn, high wall and old bathtubs with some building materials. My room was entered at least twice during two day stay despite do not disturb sign and an extra one time when I was having a nap(!!!) and somebody walked in despite telling him earlier not to come over. As an excuse he said that he needs to check the minibar. Amarone was served at a room temperature, I'd be better off with a gluhwein, food at the pool area bellow average but prices high. Bar security ignored me and was answering my dress code questions to my arab friend. Noticed a cat in the cage in the garden. Tried to ask why, was ignored and only 4th person told me that they would throw the cat away later... it was kept there throughout the hot day without water. Oh and my friend was treated like a prostitute by the hotel staff and was not allowed to come over to my room without showing her passport even when she was bleeding and we wanted to put the bandaid on the cut - hotel policy. There were plenty other small issues not worth mentioning but those shouldnt have happened in starred hotel. PS its is so far away from everywhere.

Rooms are dated. The size of the room is small. We had call the reception several times for things like blanket towels. The first room had water issues in the bathroom. The outside bar did not have good drinks and when waited an hour for shisha. The ambience was nice and good breakfast choice. The hotel needs updating and a more responsive management team.

There was some noise coming from the outside. It was a thumping noise, maybe from construction nearby or within the hotel which is partially under construction or renovation. It was during the morning hours. It woke us up very early.
Staff was very friendly. They met our request for a room close to the reception in order for my mother to limit her walking distance to the reception. The food was good and varied. The staff was amazing. The location close to the La Mer and Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall is a big plus.

The was a very bad smell in the room. All though i called the service to come and check what is the problem, but sadly no one showed up. I called several time with no result. Check in service was poor the guy on the desk need more training.
