The property is right on the water with the mountains on the horizon. Beautiful visible sunsets to the west of the hotel. Spacious rooms with AC units. The seaside view rooms are the best and have a balcony that provides an excellent panoramic view. Make sure you bring some water shoes with a soul because the beach is rocky! No need to go out to eat. The hotel provides free breakfast, great cocktails, and their menu for lunch & dinner has a good selection. Everything is made fresh, & the food is tasty & affordable. It’s literally a one-stop shop. The closest big city is only a 25 minute drive where you can shop, eat, & meander around town.

Staff are very friendly and used to dealing with non-Albanian visitors, which makes things easier. Breakfast was great and the room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Beach is less than a five minute walk away.

I picked this place on my trip through Albania & it couldn't have been better. It's a family run business and Anna, her husband Pappi, her mother & Son Leo were all so sweet & accommodating. Anna is also an amazing cook and the bed was next level comfortable. All in all it felt like staying with family. The only regret I have, is not staying here longer. I went in February and the weather was pleasant and I even went for a morning dip in the ocean which was cool but not freezing. The beach is right in front. I really want to come back for a week and relax.

The flat was located near the center and the beach.
The flat was located near the center and the beach. Everything was new and clean. The well-equipped kitchen and bathroom the clean sheets and towels and the comfortable sleeping area made our stay nice and relaxing. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. There is also a parking place just in front of the block of flats. You can find cafés, restaurants and a supermarket nearby. I definitely recommend the flat.

Orikum? Never again! There is not a beach with sand.
Orikum? Never again! There is not a beach with sand. Nor there is a beach that is neat and arranged with some idea for tidiness. Only stones and pebbles where one can easily hurt a foot while entering the dirty water of the sea full with sea weed and I`m afraid....fecalies!!! There are numerous canals that stink taking the sewage directly into the sea!!! I would definitely NOT recommend Orikum to any of my friends....and if one ever goes there, pray to god to find a person that speaks english.... Here I must admit that we never got the courage to visit any of local restaurants due to....well, you figure out. Sorry Orikum, you have lot to learn about tourism and all the standards that must follow with tourism.....

Quiet place for a relaxing holiday far from the maddening crowds. Long pebble beaches, but be aware that most properties listed on booking.com are quite far from them, so you will definitevely have to use your car to reach them. In the town you'll find several well-stocked groceries, a few bakeries, a farmacy and a few bars, at least one ATM and exchange office. There is also a direct minibus service to Vlore.

The area is under construction to be a tourist place, and you see it by all the hotels that are building. The restaurants are almost all serving the same food, pizza and some sea food. It is hard to see a restaurant that has any special meny to offer. Some restaurants do not have a meny in English, only local language, and that is frustrating. The beaches are very OK, clean, and the water is perfect. Most of the local people treat you very nice. Be aware of that many of the Albanians drive crazy, and put your own and other people lives at risk.

Orikum is a little, but cool place 5 minutes on the bike from the beach. The main street offers everything, you need - ice cream, a farmer with raki, little stores, food. No luxury, but don't forget, you're in Balkan. There is a swamp near the town with dusty roads, there you can find challanges to the mountains.

Orikum is a very small town, 17 km from Vlore. It is quite and charming. It`s a good place to relax with family and friends. The beaches are small, but the sea is clean and calm most of the days. The prices of the food and drinks are approachable for everyone. You can eat sea food with excellent quality and enjoy good drinks for a good price. The hospitality of the locals and the owners of the facilities is the biggest advantage in Orikum.
