A quite neighborhood, with a lot of facilities in the area. There are markets, bars, private beaches. There are many different restaurants in the area offering a variety of cuisines, from regional to Mediterranean to Italian. Saranda is a picturesque city located on the Ionian Sea, which offers many streets ideal for short and longer walks, lined with cafes and confectioneries where you can taste local sweets. For people who want to taste the life of the natives, a market with fresh fruits and vegetables is perfect. There is a seaport nearby, which allows transport by hydrofoil/ferry to the Greek island of Corfu. From Saranda it is only 14 km to Ksamil, 21 km to Blue Eye and 55 km to Gjirokastra.
