I am absolutely in love with the city!
The whole country is very lovely. Erivan has a lot to offer: delicious food, trendy places, beautiful views and the most kind and friendly people you'll ever encounter. It's my second visit and I'm already missing Erivan.
You can book interesting tours fairly cheap. Everything is quite close, so you'll be able to visit breathtaking tourist places on the countryside, even if your visit is short.
I was amazed by the number of people able to speak German. Most people are very good at speaking Russian and at the restaurants you'll be provided with English menus. A lot of people speak English very well.
It is hard to describe what's so amazing about Erivan. It's just the feel. I've never felt so comfortable and welcomed. The city has very interesting architecture and such a cozy vibe. Visit Armenia, you will not regret it, I promise.

I love Yerevan.
I love Yerevan. It is not flashy on the outside, but quaint and beautiful on the inside. The city has so much to offer, you need to take the time to discover it. The food is amazing, the people are lovely, and the weather and air is refreshing. You can find water fountains all over the town and the country. I also visited several other landmarks and towns, monestaries and hit the ski slopes while here! Everything was great. We had Easter dinner with an Armenian family and they were so kind, the spread was amazing and that was the best part of the whole trip.

More or less city and country still with a high influence...
More or less city and country still with a high influence from Soviet union and Russia. People are so welcoming and friendly, food almost everywhere is good and this place is rather cheap and affordable. Yerevan offers some sightseeing, parks, and churches to visit as well as restaurants offering local cuisine

An amazing city, with a great bus and so much to see.
An amazing city, with a great bus and so much to see. Lots of old buildings with interesting architecture. People are super welcoming and genuinely nice. The food is incredible with great prices (apart from some of the fancy coffee spots, but also crazy choice of cafes full of artisanal and out there coffee options). Love every minute spent in the city but can also get out to nearby ancient landmarks. Definitely worth spending a week or more here!

An excellent country to visit.
An excellent country to visit. Unfriendly locals in most of Yerevan. They wouldn't help if they could . Immigration interrogates you like you are a threat if you have an Azerbaijan stamp on your passport. Driving is a nightmare as they don't follow any rules, be it on the highway or in the city. We visited the most tourist locations by driving ourselves. The food is great. They don't cheat travelers when it comes to food. Be it in malls or on the streets the price range is more or less the same.
Partez is a great hotel not far from city center and main railway station as well. Rooms are big and clean, beds are comfy and breakfast is yummy. But the main thing about this place is the staff. All of them are very hospitable, kind and ready to help. We had our train to Tbilisi departing in the evening and spent much of the time after check-out in the hotel lobby where they treated us with cookies and played cartoons on TV to our 4 y.o. son :) Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity and we'll definitely be back one day!
First of all, the hotel is located in the best possible neighborhood ever. The area is a block away from the Republic Square. The hotel is in the center nevertheless it’s a very quiet, safe, clean neighborhood. This was our first time ever in Armenia and we are super satisfied by all means. I would like to send a super duper huge thanks to hotel stuff who were super friendly with us. The rooms are huge and fully equipped (even washing machine, Netflix tv and Armenian vine) and clean. Thank you! Teşekkürler! Shnorhakalut’yun!
There were a couple good things about the apartment, but they were all outweighed by the bad. For example, the apartment _was_ in the city center and next to a grocery, which was nice - but the view was facing a bunch of other apartments of questionable status, and the entrance was in a grimy alley.
There was one other plus - the owner did come to our hotel to pick up the keys to the apartment. Of course that meant we weren't staying in the apartment, so its actually not a good thing.
We enjoyed our stay for 13 nights. Thanks to our lovely and friendly host and her family that were so helpfull. The apartment was exactly next to the cascade and so close to kentron( city center) . It was just few minutes walk to so many great places..the apartment was clean, comfortable and safe which made it feels like our own home. We enjoyed it all and I really recommend it to stay there.
Hope to come back soon Yerevan, my beautiful motherland' Armenia🇦🇲♥️
Warmest regards🌹🌹🌹
Take into account it is a cheap place so you will not be in a 4 stars hotel.
I slept perfectly, although it was summer and quite hot. It has a very very good kitchen, full of pans and pots, cutlery and so on. Two fridges, so you have space to keep your stuff as well.
It is very good located, close to bus station where you will find buses to go to the Central bus station + it's in the city center, you can walk anywhere.
Very friendly people working there.
We had a great experience with this hotel. It is located very close to the city center, the rooms were clean and nice. Has a backyard where you can seat and enjoy the evening fresh air. The staff was supportive and very courteous. Breakfast was delicious, so we liked everything. It's such a nice hotel we'll be back next week and always recommend it to our friends. Thanks for the great experience. 👍👍
The hotel is amazing. It’s super close to the city center. Every person in the hotel is nice and friendly. Also except Armenian they speak Russian and English. They make good breakfasts. All food is perfect especially really grate yummy cakes. Hotel is very clean. They do nice room service and clean rooms every day. Room has gorgeous view to Ararat. Shirak is one of the best hotels in Yerevan!
During our stay at the hotel, we were accommodated in room 204 and were amazed by the breathtaking view it offered. The hotel's location was ideal, as it was situated near Republic Square and Yerevan city center, providing easy access to all the amenities one could desire. The receptionist was extremely helpful and spoke English fluently, which made our stay even more comfortable.
This is my best stay in Yerevan, we are travelers from Israel with two children. We had visited many places in Armenia with different stays, and our stay in 2×2 was the best. Amazing personnel, especially Nina and two other ladies, very tasty breakfast!! My next stays in Yerevan would be only in 2×2 hotel!!
Thank you very much....
Excellent breakfast, very kind an extremely helpful and competent staff. The library offered a quiet place for work and the hotel just radiates calm. They communicate quickly as well. The hotel is very close to the city center and the airport is about 30 minutes away. I absolutely loved staying at this hotel.
Hotel is a very good location - in the city center, next to the best locations in the city. Area around is safe, room was nice and clean, nevertheless some parts/carpets smell from smoking, which was unpleasant. Breakfast were limited, but enjoyable. Hotel provides early check-in and transfer services.
.
Friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable beds, super clean rooms, great WiFi and a practical location for exploring Yerevan (if you don't mind a 10 minute or so walk to the center, or you can take a cheap taxi). All you want from a hotel, really!
The hotel is nice & Cousy with warm family vibes, the staff are very helpful and nice specially Helen who always gets out of her way to greet & assist her guests. It’s walking distance from the city center just navigate your way through Yandex maps.
The property is near to the city center and easy access to the airport vice versa, I paid 2,000 AMD from airport to the hotel and 1,700 AMD from the hotel to the airport via Yandex Go Mobile App. The hotel is offering breakfast, city tour, and more.
First when I book, I was confused as the price is cheaper, but when I arrived I understood that its the best hotel I have ever been in Yerevan.
Very clean, very quiet place, hotel is in the heart of the city center, will recommend for sure.
It matches the description. It’s clean, comfortable. The bathroom is small, but very clean with shampoo and soap. This hotel has a terrace and a garden, you can find a a swing in the terrace. The hotel is located in the city center.
A very nice, new hotel in the center of Yerevan. Facilities are in good shape and it seems to only have eight rooms which makes it calm. Best of all are the receptionists who are all very helpful and pleasant people. Thank you!
I really like that the best place to stay in Yerevan is if anyone wants to visit Armenia then go for Red Castel Hotel is one the budget friendly and also peacefully place we feel like home such a nice and great place ever 😊
