I loved the garden and the fresh breakfast I received. I was very sad to leave, I wish I had more time to spend here!

Shushan and her family are incredibly welcoming and made me feel like home. The food (dinner and breakfast) was amazing and they always offered fresh fruit from the garden. Also close to public transport, shops and a restaurant. Perfect location for discovering Vayots Dzor

Shushan is a very caring, kind and interested host. She asked me every day about my activities and invited me one evening for dinner with her amd her husband. She served a big breakfast (sweet & salty) that could impossibility be eaten. She also offered me continuously fruits harvested in her garden. The room is apparently her son's former room so has quite many personal belongings inside, the bathroom is shared with the family. To get there you cross through their living room. All of this makes it a very personal/familiar experience which is cool but not suitable if you're looking for lots of privacy.

Shushan is a very welcoming guest house with a lot of flair and fresh air. Fruits from the garden are yummy. Shushan and her son Artur speak good English, which helps a lot. The breakfast is excellent. Gagit, the husband, is an excellent taxi driver taking you to several places of interest for fair prices.

Shushan and her family gave me the warmest and most hospitable welcome possible. In many years travelling, I have rarely, if ever, felt like I became a member, albeit temporarily, of a host’s family. It was like visiting a long lost Aunt and Uncle! Nothing was too much trouble. Food, sweets, confitures, fruits (so much from their garden) was put before me. Not to mention the vodka! The guest house is made from stone with thick walls so no need for air-con. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom always available. It’s a place for people who appreciate heart, warmth and character. They speak English well and Shushan’s husband drove me where I wanted to go at very fair rates. If you value authenticity then stay here.
