Apartment Helsen enjoys a quiet location amid the Berchtesgaden Alps, a 10-minute walk from the centre of Mühlbach am Hochkönig. Company information

As previously mentioned, we are the Belgian owners and hosts of Appartements Helsen, Peggy, Guy, Arne (our son) and Lizzy (our cute and cuddly dog!). Whether it's summer or winter we both love the outdoors. This allows us to advise our guests with everything from ski instruction to ski hire in winter and mountain biking to sightseeing in the summer. There is so much to see and do here and we love to share our enjoyment and passion for the region we live in.

Property information

Appartements Helsen is a beautiful, comfortable apartment house built in traditional alpine style. Appartements Helsen is a self-catering apartment house owned by ourselves, a Belgian couple. The house is situated at a height of 856m up in the beautiful mountain village of Mühlbach am Hochkönig, 10km from the B311 motorway. The village centre with a supermarket and bakery is only a 5-minute walk from the house. We are always on hand to provide you with information to help you enjoy your holiday as much as possible. We offer a very friendly service and love to hear about all our guests' experiences during their holiday. We know the area well so can recommend the best places to walk, ski, eat visit etc. We look forward to welcoming you!

Neighbourhood information

The area is great for skiing or biking and hiking holiday. We are 150m from the ski bus stop, and the bus then takes 5 minutes to take you to the base of the gondola which gives access to 120km of pistes, and hiking routes. There are 340km of hiking trails in the area, with fantastic scenery. There is an outdoor swimming pool in the village, a children's play park, with a small petting zoo, and plenty of other activities such as archery, flying fox, horse riding etc. There are lots of things to see in the area such as Hohenwerfen castle, ice caves, salt mines, Hallstadt, Königssee and Berchtesgaden, and of course Salzburg.
