Our room was luxuriously renovated and modern with some lovely character still intact. The mountain view from the balcony was beautiful. The bathroom and shower was very nicely done. The bed was very comfortable and the linens had a quality feel. Breakfast was exceptional. All in all a lovely stay in a characterful 300 year old hotel! We only wish the restaurant was open but it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Everyone needs a much deserved few days off though!
We booked a junior suite with balcony overlooking The Valley and the mountains. The room is as quiet and comfortable with a sofa and plenty of space. The balcony was huge and an added bonus.
We were travelling with our dog and the hotel supplied, without us asking, two dog bowls snd a dog bed.
We ate at the restaurant, sitting outside on the terrace. The food was a great mixture of traditional and traditional with a twist. Thoroughly recommend.
Beautiful large terrace with lovely mountain view. Nice room design - best we've had in our trip. We loved the quality bed sheets and comfy mattress!Shower is large and comfortable and we got plenty towels. There are good cooking facilities and in our room we found salt and pepper (could be nice to also have available some olive oil). The room is clean, there are laundry facilities. Check in was easy. There are parking spaces for hotel guests.
Very modern and spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed, amazing view from balcony, great breakfast, easy checkin and checkout, sufficient parking in front of the hotel. There is also a restaurant in the hotel but we did not eat there.
We loved the traditional setting of the hotel with all the wood panelling etc. The breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant was lovely. The staff were great and it really felt as though we went back in time.
The staff were very friendly, especially a lady who seems to be running the place most of the time. I didn't eat in the hotel but I had a beer and a cake and the prices were very reasonable.
Good location very close to Rosshütte and Gschwandkopf ski lifts. Fantastic view from the huge balcony. Big room for 2 guests. Very nice and friendly staff. Good restaurant at the hotel.
Very nice and quiet hotel. Very nice staff.
The food is delicious and home made
No need to eat outside the hotel
Just let yourself get spoiled after a day of walking or sightseeing
Nice hotel for one night/stopover. The room was comfortable, but a bit outdated. Good value for money. Dinner on the terrace was good and friendly priced.
