Situated some 930 metres ASL, it is at the end of tram route STB that takes you into the heart of Innsbruck in an hour and is ideal for alighting at stops from which to trek through the meadows and forests. Good base to explore Stubai region. Though local tax may be higher than other places and there is additional road toll to access the region, the use of Stubai guest card to cover mountain cable cars and car parking cost provide convenience and enjoyment.

We stayed at Gasthof Gröbenhof on our way to Italy. We have never seen such a clean accomodation as Gröbenhof. Our bedroom and bathroom were both big and very comfortable. Dinner on the night of arrival and breakfast the next day were both very good. Recommended for a sleepover!

The room was all we expected with a comfortable balcony giving glorious views down the Stubai Valley. Close to local buses and 20 minute walk to the tram to Innsbruck. We enjoyed walks direct from the hotel. The centre of Fulpmes with a selection of cafes, restaurants and shops (including a supermarket) was just 10 minute walk. Lifts just above the village give easy access to some superb walking with fabulous views. We had four nights. Definitely longer next time.

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, huge and comfy bedrooms with beds in old wood design, sunny balcony with great views, two bathrooms, Smart-TV with guest Netflix account. The location is great, quite and in 5min walking distance you can reach restaurants and supermarkets. There was even a possibility to order fresh bread in the morning. It was only a 5-minute walk to the Schlick 2000 ski area. The host was exceptional friendly and professional.AAndrikoAustria

Silvia made us feel very welcomed and shared a lot of insights on places to visit in the area. Thanks to that we've seen much more than we could've expected, enjoyed every bit of it. And Stubai Super Card that lets you use many cable cars in the area for free was another nice bonus. We're definitely coming back!

As it's located in Fulpmes, it's 11 km from the first hut (Starkenburger Hütte). Carmen, the hostess, is very nice, welcoming and attendtive. We were late past check-in time, but Carmen assured us it's ok and waited for us until we arrived. The room is very basic, but nice and cosy. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is absolutely fabulous with a variety of dishes (fruits, juices, cheeses, salami, eggs and cereals).
