This was a really charming hotel, run by a kind and caring man. His grandparents started the hotel and it has been in his family ever since. I loved the way the hotel was decorated with vintage décor pieces. We personally did not walk into town because there was no side walk on the road outside the hotel, but it was a super quick 4 minute drive. There's also a bike trail right outside the hotel. The town of Reutte, Austria was very charming. Nice restaurants and shopping. We choose to stay here on our way to Neuschwanstein Castle, its a quick 25 min drive away and cheaper than staying in Füssen, Germany. If you have a rental car, there is plenty of parking at the hotel. Our hotel room was very large and spacious with a comfy bed, sitting area, large balcony, nice bathroom, and three large windows. We could also see the ruins of Ehrenberg Castle from our balcony, which made for a very cool view! We enjoyed our stay.
