Booked last minute on long layover in Vienna. Hotel was super easy to find, just down the street from train station (take the 16 min. train from airport into center of Vienna -- so convenient). Easy to walk to, friendly and helpful staff upon arrival, spacious and CLEAN room, comfortable bed, cool branding for Ruby Hotels. I would definitely stay here again!
United States of AmericaThe hotel is wonderful. The staff is wonderful. Check in was so easy. The breakfast was amazing. The location is less than 5 minutes from the main train station. It makes getting from the airport to city center no problem.
ItalyHelpful guy checked me in with no fuss even though it was late and he was the only one manning the bar and reception. The structure is all very cool with a meditation room, yoga terrace, lots of tech. and corridors painted black. You can even plug your phone into a Marshall amp.
ItalyThe breakfast is very good and the location is very accessible, near the center. The yoga terrace is a nice touch as well. They also have a well stocked vending machine on the 5th floor for your basic needs (toothbrush, tooth paste, water, snacks, condoms..)

Very convenient for making transfers to the CAT airport train -- hotel is located a short 5 min. walk from Mitte station. Also really appreciated not having to check out in the am!

Opened in spring 2014, the Ruby Sofie Hotel Vienna is housed in the historic Sofiensäle, a former concert hall just a 5-minute walk from the Landstraße-Wien hub and the famous Hundertwasserhaus. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas.
The at the Ruby Sofie Hotel are air-conditioned and feature hardwood floors, a 40-inch flat-screen TV, extra long beds, a laptop safe, and a bathroom. Guests receive a digital city guide and the hotel’s own music radio channel in each room.
The 24-hour bar and the library feature vintage furniture and original items from the building's past. Each floor has a vending machine for drinks and snacks, a coffee/tea maker, and an ironing board. An is available upon request.
The Landstraße-Wien Mitte metro hub provides direct services to St. Stephen's Cathedral, the State Opera, Schönbrunn Palace, and (16 minutes away). The historic center of Vienna can be reached in a 15-minute walk.
