The castle is beautifully maintained- walking distance to the lake (the access to the lake proposed by the hotel is a great place to relax). And the town is in the heart of the region with plenty to do. We planned to stay a few days but stayed a full week in the end.

Originally a historic castle from the 15th century located on the shores of Lake Wörth, the romantic Hotel Schloss Leonstain offers an award-winning restaurant and a spa area with pampering massage treatments and free sauna.Guests can also relax on the private LEON Beach, lying on the sun loungers or sampling culinary treats of the beach club restaurant. The elegant Schlossbar serves an exquisite selection of drinks.
