Neighborhood info

Katoomba is the place to be in the mountains. A relaxed small town with breath taking scenery, it's a Hiker's heaven with more walks and scenic routes than you can possibly explore in one single trip. It has a lovely variety of little cafes and restaurants, and easy grocery shopping. You will love lighting up the fireplace in winter and opening a bottle of something nice while you relax with friends here in Katoomba. With a few festivals throughout the year and lovely seasons its a great place to visit all year around. Getting around is easy. If you have a car you are totally set but even if you arrive by train its super easy to get around. From our place you can walk nearly everywhere and busses also run through town and to the train station. We even have some local Uber drivers that are happy to come and pick you up and drive you the 5 minutes into town if you are going to have dinner but have done enough walking throughout the day.
