Very handy to supermarkets but about 20 min walk to main shops and eateries.
New ZealandThe Anchor Motel was able to provide a spacious room with all amenities we required i.e. kitchenette, dining area and separate seating area. The bathroom was very spacious and all was very clean. There was a lovely balcony with seating which would be great if the weather had been warmer. Our stay was a short one to attend a family event so we were unable to use the pay T V amenities due to lack of time. Would recommend to any couple.

AustraliaThe lovely owner/ lady was very kind to my son. We turned up early and I was very emotional after my son had a sensory melt down in the park. It was very overwhelming and I struggled to get my words out as I had been in tears. She gave my son an Easter egg and he loved the room, and after he rested he was happy again. I was so relieved to be able to check in an hour and a half earlier, and I thank her for her kindness. Sometimes you just never know what another person is going through, but the manger was clearly very perceptive. The room was lovely and it was clean, spacious, well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. We went to sleep early and the room was lovely and quiet for my son, and he coped really well with the change of surroundings. Thank you for a lovely stay, and thank you for letting me check in early when I was struggling to fight back the tears:(

We appreciated the biscuits with our cup of tea. Would recommend & stay next time for sure. Parking was very close to the rooms too.
