AustraliaTurning into the drive of the magnificent period residence Arcoona it was hard not to be immediately captivated by its charm and grandeur. It was truly like stepping back in time and its beauty was equally stunning inside with its period features, including intricate leadlight windows and ornate chandeliers. We stayed in the Meander room and loved the sympathetic decor, the super comfy king-size bed and the recently modernised bathroom, which was spotlessly clean. Breakfast options were more than ample and served in a delightful breakfast room. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. Arcoona stole our hearts and while our stay may be over, the memory of our stay will be certain to linger for much longer.

We are a family of 4. Our adult children are 18 & 20. Are the beds in the Family Junior suite standard single bed size? Or are they only suitable for small children?Hi The twin beds are standard and suited to teenagers and younger. Adults have slept in them and said they are comfortable. Another option is to select 2 suites with the Garden Suite set up as Twin Share which are larger beds suited for adults.Answered on November 27, 2021

Hello, do all rooms have a bath please? What kind of heating do you have too please?The Cedars Suite upstairs and the Tiers Family Suite have both a bath and a separate shower. All suites have their own reverse cycle heating so that guests can set the temperature of their rooms. There is heating in the common receptions rooms.Answered on June 14, 2022

Arcoona Manor was built in 1892 and is listed with the National Trust. It is located in the picturesque village of Deloraine in Northern Tasmania. The extensive grounds of over 3 acres contains a croquet lawn, pond, vegetable patch, orchard and stunning garden and established trees.
Arcoona Manor is a new venture and passion. After 25 years in Corporate life, Arcoona is my 'sea change' - bringing together all the things I love... Historic homes, beautiful gardens, tranquil surrounds and meeting people from all over the world.
Deloraine is a thriving and vibrant village. It has all the amenities such as hospital, schools, restaurants, pubs, shopping, antiques, art galleries while being at the foot of the Great Western Tiers mountain range. You have stunning views, with lots of activities planned throughout the year.
