A great place to stay in Tanunda, shame we were only there for 1 night. Sophia was a perfect host, so friendly & a wealth of information. We stayed in the upstairs Jacaranda suite which was great, very spacious. Loved the cooked breakfast on the verandah. Thanks Sophia, we will return.

The hosts Sofia and Leo went above and beyond our expectation both pleasant, friendly and helpful the rooms where big with character but with all the modern conveniences. The full breakfast was great, and location very central to wine cellars and main street for cafes and shop would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

The property was totally amazing. Our host was so friendly and lovely. We loved the whole property beautiful garden and house.

Very warm welcome, nicely decorated room, everything you need and more.

Hostess Sophia is very welcoming and can't do enough to make you feel comfortable. The property is beautifully maintained. I know where to go next time I visit Tanunda.

Sophia and her family have lovingly restored a heritage Federation-era building and turned it into a cute bed and breakfast. The building is beautiful; the rooms are large with reverse cycle air-con/heater; the beds are comfortable; the complimentary perks are welcome (wine on arrival, port and chocolates in our room). The breakfast was delicious, cooked by Sophia to order. And Zeus the cat was also very welcoming. Highly recommended, my partner and I will be back.

Loved the breakfast, the location and the comfortable rooms! Sophia, Leo and Peter were wonderful hosts and made us feel at home. We were close to town, and in the vicinity of some amazing wineries and restaurants (within a 10-minute drive). Would highly recommend.

Sophia, the owner, is lovely. In my travel experiences, I rarely encounter such warm, open, genuine hospitality. Sophia is such a joy to talk with: she has a great deal to share about the Barossa region, the restaurants, etc. And her breakfast, freshly prepared as you enjoy a morning coffee and a yogurt (including Greek yogurt) and fruit selection, is fantastic. We will return again for sure. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Jess

Barossa House is warm and inviting with beautiful fireplaces in the living room and dining rooms. It is situated perfectly...near the town of Tanunda (walking distance if you are interested) and incredibly close to top notch vineyards. Sophia and Leo are not only wonderful hosts but have a wealth of information about all of the vineyards and offered great suggestions for us to help maximize our time and interests. We knew it was a bead and breakfast but, believe me, it is no ordinary breakfast. Amazing breakfast dishes and various coffees and teas. We are definitely going back!! The room was perfectly comfortable and we had plenty of room.

Breakfast was delicious, room was spacious and modern. Host left out some port and chocolate for us to enjoy.
