The holiday park was well set up with a good balance of privacy for each cabin/campsite despite the density. The cabin was comfortable and stocked with basic amenities. The park amenities (BBQ's, pool etc) also looked great, although I didn't get the chance to utilise any of them.
Located among luscious tropical gardens and located close to Tallow Beach, Byron Lakeside features a heated outdoor pool and self-contained apartments with a private courtyard or balcony.

The staff were incredibly helpful when I had questions about checking in. They went to the room before we arrived and opened up our garage door and put our air con on which was fantastic. They also offered late check out without us asking.

This is more of an Airbnb style than hotel with self check in etc. not saying this is good or bad. The views here are stunning and the rooms are picture perfect. It’s an easy 8 minute drive to town. If you stay here Hiring a car is a must as Ubers are limited and an 8 minute drive is an hour walk. We would definitely stay here again.

The property is an easy stroll 2 blocks from Lake Ainsworth, a block to the Bowls Club, a stones throw to 2 x cafes, and an easy stroll to town - just perfect location as we love the lake, but wanted to easily walk to town too. My two tween daughters shared a bedroom, although there's a fold out couch. My husband and I stayed in another room. And my parents came with us.

The Harvest Deli and Harvest Restaurants were very nice and the gift and dress shops were also very good. If you are planning to dine at the Harvest Restaurant made sure there isn't a wedding on otherwise you will need to dine at Bangalow which is about 10 mins drive away.
