The Cottage is very conveniently located in Apollo Bay, close to all amenities and easy to find. It was a good base to explore the Great Ocean Road.
AustraliaEasy walking distance to beach, shops and supermarket. Driving distance to great walks and the Fly. Heaters and electric blankets to keep us warm in winter. Light, sunny, clean rooms with floor boards in main living areas and carpet in bedrooms. Generally a lovely cottage for our family of 4. Thanks.

Really liked the ‘no list of rules’ on the fridge…common sense should prevail…although I know it doesn’t always, unfortunately! Very clean. It felt very welcoming.

Hey 👋 Do we book for a child if it’s 3 months old and we are bringing its bed or just book the adults?You will not be charged for a baby in its own bed. So you would only need to book 2 adults. However, I would be grateful if you would notify me that you will bring a baby. I will provide a towel for the baby.Answered on November 17, 2021

Does the house have air conditioning?Good morning. Thank you for your interest in Beach Holiday Cottage. The house is not air conditioned. However, there are fans in both bedrooms and living area. The house is surrounded on 3 sides by covered verandas and stays quite cool on most days, especially if you are smart about keeping blinds closed etc. Our climate here is a lot milder than in Melbourne and we tend to get very few of those awful scorching days. We are lucky enough to be next to the ocean and the temperature is usually moderated by a lovely sea breeze.Answered on December 20, 2019

Hi. Does the house have air conditioning?Beach Holiday Cottage does not have air conditioning. The climate in Apollo Bay doesn't really need it as we only have a few very hot days in summer. There are fans in bedrooms/living area and block-out blinds to keep the house cool on warm days.Answered on February 17, 2022

Is there a shuttle available to get to the closest beach nearby? What are the other transportation options?There is no need for a shuttle. The closest beach is only a 200 metre walk from the house! It is also only a short walk to shops and cafes.Answered on October 12, 2019

Would it be possible to bring 2 well behaved, house trained, elderly dogs with us. Have stayed at other holiday properties in Apollo Bay and owners have never had complaints about our dogs. Cannot use 2 storey accomm anymore because of elderly dogs so need to book a single storey. Thank you.Exceptions to the pet-free status by application BEFORE BOOKING ONLY. Dogs must NEVER be inside the house. They can sleep on verandas OUTSIDE ONLY. All droppings must be picked up from the yard and disposed of before guests leave.
