The Gold Coast covers a large area and long sea front.
The Gold Coast covers a large area and long sea front. Organised like a city with 700,000+ population. Public transport is good though there is no bus or tram route along the promenade. Need a Go card which is also valid in Brisbane - these are not as widely available as their equivalents in Sydney or Melbourne. Ocean and beach views are stunning and Surfers' Paradise is not an exaggeration.

The apartment was great and comfortably,
There was underground parking for each apartment . And visitors parking which was fantastic, the view was lovely, of the sea, restaurants was not far away some lovely restaurants but they close so early 8:45pm we did not arrive until 7:30 pm, but we found a pub and was able to get food at the pub, and it music which was nice.and they only stayed open until 10:30 pm.
The next night we went to a lovely Greek restaurant. A nice little strip in main beach with restaurant and cafes. 3 mins away.
Great place to stay.

I live in Gold Coast Hinterland.
I live in Gold Coast Hinterland. We like to stay a couple of nights, every couple of months, as it discounts the parking headaches when we want to visit our chosen restaurants. We don't worry about having a drink as we don't have to drive home.

Just love the beaches, & plenty to do if you want to drive.

The gold coast is my home away from home, but i must admitt, Surfers paradise itself really needs to have a face lift. It really has lost its uniqueness, & the great vibe it use to have.

Apart from all of the necessary road works.
Apart from all of the necessary road works. We love Broadbeach. This has everything we needed. Pacific fair, trams and Seaworld. Surfer's paradise is definitely not appealing. It is dirty and tired. We ventured out to Tamborine Mountain and other areas. Get out into nature. St Bernards Hotel is wonderful!
1. Excellent view from our room - we stayed in high floor 3 bedrooms ocean view room (we are small family (2 adult, 1 child and 1 baby) but we picked 3 bedrooms just to ensure we get better chance of high floor, we had many great pictures of Gold Coast from our windows)
2. Great location of the resort - walking distance to the famous beach, shops and restaurants
3. Car park is available during the stay although it can be challenge to fit a big SUV
4. Free Wifi is provided (mobile reception is poor there)
The Hotel was easy to find. Close to everything, Casino, Pacific Fair, etc......
The access and parking was brilliant. Plenty of parking. Reception was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Restaurant and bar facilities were just down from our room. Great meals and Bar staff friendly. Will definatley recomend to family and friends when travelling to Gold Coast. Will stay there again on next trip and on our way back home to NSW from Yeppoon.
I booked a twin room as we were on a budget and it was cheaper than a double - it came with a KS bed in a bedroom and a single bed in the loungeroom.
It was really clean, comfortable and quiet, and also way more spacious than we anticipated - even had a six seat outdoor setting on the balcony big. All that and it was the cheapest accom on the Gold Coast :-) Of note - the room rates were cheaper through Booking.com than the best price directly through the hotel.
The location is good, very close to Gold Coast Airport (3-5 mins' drive). Easy to get to the downtown and all the other attraction sites. Brad, the manager, is super friendly and helpful. He provides a lot of valuable suggestions on where to go and what needs to be aware of in advance to our little adventures.
Besides, the two kitties (Bila and Vista) provide additional fun to our family's stay. The two brothers are a good combination of shy and outgoing.
The apartment was amazing. Breathtaking from the moment you walk in. We were on the 4th floor and the view was great! Beds were super comfy. Air con worked well. Seemed very soundproof with the doors closed. Very good value for money! Was the cheapest hotel i could find with 4 bedrooms and it did not dissapoint! Would definately stay here again
First time staying on the Gold Coast. This hotel had the perfect location close to the beach, tram stops, pacific fair shopping centre and many restaurants in Broadbeach. The room was spotless with the kitchen and stocked with utensils. Staff were friendly and so helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
The room is sizable and comfy. I stayed on the hinterland side which had beautiful views of the Broadbeach Waters canals and Gold Coast hinterland. The hotel has many options for dining which is great - highly recommend the breakfast package at Nineteen which is the same price as the buffet but 100 times better.
Perfect little apartment for 2 people. It was really cheap as well and had all necessities, minus an oven. Very clean and tidy on arrival. The beach is also a really short walk away which was so handy. When I went, it was really quiet and there was barely anyone at the pool which I really enjoyed.
Close to airport and a great - unspoilt -beach. A short walk to a great coffee shop and North Kirra surf club. The motel staff and the heritage of the motel were winners! So more interesting than a bland hotel room on the Gold Coast!
The hotel room was amazing. The view from out the back over looking Broadbeach was spectacular. Our stay was very enjoyable.
I would recommend Meriton Suites Broadbeach to anyone travelling to & staying on the Gold Coast.
Unparalleled location on the beach. Amazing ocean views—and that from the cheapest apartment. Every apartment there has an ocean view. Large apartment as you can only get in an older building. And simply wonderful staff!
Great location right on the most beautiful beach in the whole of Gold Coast. Also so close to great dining options. The carpark at the hotel is great and the rooms are clean (serviced daily) and comfortable.
Amazing location between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach this 5 star hotel didn't disappoint. Room was tastefully and comfortably decorated, with very high quality products and furnishings.
Fantastic hotel all round & lovely staff. Onsite cafe is so cute & tasty. Room was amazing - spacious, modern & comfortable. Excellent parking. Close to beach & Broadbeach centre.
