The Quarterdecks Retreat is located in the Boat Harbor precinct of Hervey Bay. Wi-Fi is available throughout the five-acre retreat free of charge. All villas are air-conditioned and include a full kitchen, laundry with washing machine and dryer, a private courtyard or terrace, and a lock-up garage. Some villas contain 2 bathrooms. Quarterdecks Retreat features a swimming pool, spa, sauna and BBQ facilities. The tour desk can assist with booking tours and information for whale watching, fishing and trips to K’gari (Fraser Island). Quarterdecks Retreat offers Dog Friendly Accommodations on request. We love welcoming guests to our property so they truly feel at home with spacious large villas, secure garage parking and the option to bring their pets (pet fees apply - refer to the 'Fine Print' for fees). No-one is left behind when you holiday with us.

Property info

We offer large accommodation Hervey Bay (1, 2 and 3 bedroom villas) with plenty of space, close to the beach and Urangan Marina. The perfect base to explore Fraser Coast with K'gari (Fraser Island), Whale Watching, Lady Elliot Island at the Great Barrier Reef, excellent fishing spots and much more. Hervey Bay offers probably, the best Whale Watching in the world. All our villas have a full modern kitchen with oven, stove top, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery for the maximum allowed persons. Each villa has a laundry with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. All bedrooms have a ceiling fan and some have air conditioning. Furthermore, all villas have a private fenced courtyard and direct access from the garage to the villa.

Neighborhood info

Quarterdecks Retreat is close to both the K'gari (Fraser Island) Ferry and the Marina. The Urangan rock wall protecting the marina area offers an easy walk where you can see the boats coming and going from the marina and where you can often see fish, turtles, stingrays, and dolphins. The St Peter's memorial for fishermen lost at sea is at the end of the walk. Urangan shopping plaza is conveniently located less than 1km away, with access to many shops including Chemist, Woolworths, Post Office, Butchery, Cafes and more. The property has a bush land feel backing on to a tranquil setting and a short stroll to the nearest beach. The famous Urangan Pier, Botanical Gardens and Aquarium are only a short drive away along with many cafes and bars along the 17km's of the sprawling Hervey Bay Esplanade.

Please note that small dogs are only allowed upon request. Guests are required to contact Quarterdecks Retreat at least 7 days in advance to confirm that your dog can be accommodated. The fee is currently AUD $50 for 1-2 night stays, AUD $100 for 3-7 night stays. Stays over 7 nights will be charged an additional AUD $14 per night.

A second dog will incur a fee of AUD $10 per night. This charge is payable directly to Quarterdecks Retreat.
