Very clean and tidy. Very well equipped for a relaxing holiday. Very quiet peaceful spot off of the main roads. Short drive to the river. Very pleased with our stay.

AustraliaThe Black Cat Retreat is adorable. A home away from home. Janet is a great host and I am grateful for her kindness in changing the dates at short notice. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is beautiful, very peaceful and quiet. We had a really lovely time and will definitely go back again. I recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful break in a beautiful area.

Black Cat Retreat holiday home is a retro stlyed home with a Black Cat theme located in Nildottie. Boasting plenty of free private parking, for cars, boats & other watersport vehicles. The holiday home is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, fishing, water sports, start gazing, and has free public tennis court near by too. Featuring : 3 bedrooms, a fully functional kitchen, dinning and a living room with a flat-screen TV, DVD player and stereo. 1 bathroom with a shower and bath with a separate toilet. Sleeps 6 people. The property also has multiple outdoor seating areas, a fire pit, table tennis, BBQ, swing set and beautiful endless views of the vineyards from the rear of the property.
In Nildottie itself there's the General store/supermarket that has a bottle shop, a Post office and petrol station combined. A community HUb that opens for drinks on a Friday nights where you can meet the locals. Theres also plenty of fishing spots near by. Check out the local tours : Big Bend by night, notural tours, out back pub tours and indigenous Rock art tour, sheep shearing demos and sunset dinners. (Book in advance with the Tour company). In Swan Reach 9klms away theres a vintage car museum, fantastic OP shop, a take away cafe and the Swan Reach Hotel that has a beautil beer garden that hangs over the river where you can dine on the deck sourounded by georgous river views.
